The Baptism Preparation Ministry is open to individuals and married couples that wish to share their time & talent in helping parents bring their children into the Catholic Faith. The Baptism Preparation Ministers teach baptism classes for parents and, if desired, godparents. During these classes, Ministers educate parents and godparents about the theological, parental, and community aspects of the Sacrament of Baptism. They also share their personal experiences in raising children and/or godchildren in the Faith; pass on family faith traditions and provide guidance for choosing godparents.
Baptism preparation classes are held the fourth Monday of each month in at 7:30 pm at the Parish Office. Baptism Preparation Ministers are assigned class sessions to coordinate and facilitate throughout the year. Volunteers are fully trained.
