The Respect Life Committee promotes respect for God’s gift of human life through prayer, education and action for unborn children, the disabled, the elderly and the terminally ill. This committee works to protect innocent human beings from being killed through abortion, infanticide, euthanasia, or capital punishment. The committee members are parish men and women of all ages.
The Respect Life Committee informs and educates the parish about life issues and they organize a variety of spiritual, educational, social, and advocacy activities to raise awareness about respecting life. Activities vary annually and have included; Parish Exhibits, Poinsettia Sales, Spiritual Adoption Program, Collections for Baby supplies, Participation in the diocesan 40 Days for Life, Prayer Walks and Novena of Masses for Life..
How to Volunteer
All are invited to join in this effort to give witness to the sanctity of human life and to protect the lives of our brothers and sisters. Please contact the Parish Office for more information.
The committee meets August through May.
