At the end of the Gospel of Matthew we hear of Christ’s Great Commission, “Go Baptize all nations……teach them……and know that I am with you always”. Through Jesus, God has told us again that God wants a relationship with us, the Church. The Church is Christ’s Body and God wants us to not only make a difference but to, “transform the world”!
That is a big agenda and one that is impossible for us to attain on our own. We can only accomplish this mission by using our gifts and cooperating with the grace of God. This does not happen overnight as much as we might want it to. This happens in God’s time and so we need to stay close to God and one another in order to fulfill our mission, Christ’s mission.
A very concrete way we can help in transforming the world is by building relationships. Most of the relationships of our lives are simply gifts that happen. If we take these relationships for granted they begin to falter. We want to enhance all our parishioners’ relationship with our Parish. That is why we have put together this Directory. Our hope is that this Parish Directory will help you know who some of the leadership is, staff members, Parish Organizations and some of our Parish Policies. Last but not least important are the names, addresses and numbers of the members of our Parish, the real Body of Christ of St. Norbert.
I hope and pray you will find this Directory helpful and informative. I believe this can be a tool to help us to build these relationships as we try to transform the world.
