St. Norbert Parish offers a Family Faith Formation program that provides parish children, who are attending non-Catholic schools, a formal structure to allow them to learn about the Catholic Church, develop their relationship with God and to establish long lasting relationships with peer and adult parishioners. In addition to education, the goal of the program is to have children understand faith formation is a lifelong journey. What is the Children’s Family Faith Formation Program?
The St. Norbert Parish Family Faith Formation program, in partnership with parents, continues the mission of Jesus Christ through the faith formation of children, kindergarten through 8th grade, in the areas of education, worship, community and service. The Family Faith Formation program also prepares youth for the Sacraments of First Reconciliation, First Communion, and Confirmation.
Through religious instruction, St. Norbert Parish hopes to deepen the faith and sense of belonging to the Catholic Church in our children so that they will be become disciples in Christ, moved to share their time, talent and treasures in the life of the Church, now and throughout their lives.
