Fostering relationships is vital to living out our mission as Catholics. Women’s Council guilds coordinate a variety of events, of which several are open to all ladies of the parish.
To kick off the beginning of the Women’s Council year, all women of the parish are invited to an evening reception held outdoors under the stars at the Techny Towers Pavilion. Council members are encouraged to bring a beverage and a friend to introduce them to other members. A wide array of appetizers and desserts completes a perfect evening!
Our annual mid-winter ladies event has evolved into festive “Cinco de Bingo”. Hosted by a Council guild in Grace Hall, players are asked to bring a wrapped white elephant “prize” which winners can select. Refreshments, excitement and laughter are always part of an enjoyable evening!
Ladies Night Out
What better way to foster friendship among parish women than a Ladies Night Out mixer at a local establishment during the cold of winter? This popular event, arranged by a Council guild, also features a raffle and other surprises.
Book Review & Luncheon
Every Spring, Council Members gather to be entertained by a dramatic novel presentation and enjoy lunch at a local country club. A raffle of goody baskets compiled by one of the guilds caps off an afternoon of fellowship and fun.
New Leader Socials
Prior to the first Board Meeting and at the last Board Meeting of the year, incoming and retiring guild leaders and Board Officers gather to socialize to learn more about each other. Light refreshments are served to show appreciation for their service.
